The role of technically trained individuals in the industrialization efforts of our country is a major one. It is the primary objective of TUP Visayas to produce well-rounded engineers and technicians in different areas of technology to meet the needs of industry and the nation. Towards this ojective, the school provides the students with updated laboratory/workshop facilities and innovative learning experiences.
TUP Visayas maintains three administrative divisions which cooperate in the formation of a well-balanced technical person. The three divisions, namely: Academic Affairs, Administrative & Finance, Research & Extension, prepare mutually supportive programs intended to assist the students develop their intellectual and personal potentials in order that they may benefit the most from the learning experiences offered. Students are therefore expected to participate and become involved in all the programs prepared for them.
To ensure the smooth flow of its operations, the school expects students to function within a framework of policies. These policies are designed to facilitate and optimize, rather than restrict, the effects of the learning experiences. In accepting he privilege of becoming a part of the school, it is expected that students are acquainted with these policies so that they may be guided accordingly.
