The Technological University of the Philippines – Visayas proudly welcomes Dr. Myrna Q. Mallari, Commissioner of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), in her designation as the new Chairperson of the TUP Board of Regents.

A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) by profession, Dr. Mallari brings with her over four decades of experience in higher education management, accreditation, and academic leadership. She has previously served as President and Chairperson of AACCUP (Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines, Inc.) in 2017–2018 and 2020–2022.

Her vast expertise and visionary leadership are instrumental in guiding TUP toward continued excellence in technical education, research, and innovation. Under her stewardship, the TUP community looks forward to strengthening academic programs, expanding research endeavors, and deepening community engagement across all campuses.
